Trivia Insight is a general-knowledge magazine for curious readers. We publish short, well-researched stories about science, history, geography, entertainment, literature, and art — and about the everyday facts, words, and objects that turn out to be far more interesting than they first appear. If you’re the kind of person who reads the plaque at the museum, keeps a good question in your back pocket for the dinner table, and still loves learning something new, you’re exactly who we write for.
What we do
Our tagline is simple: the story behind the fact. We’re less interested in trivia for its own sake than in the “why” underneath it — how a thing came to be, why it changed, and what it quietly says about the world. Every article is written to be read in a few minutes, over a cup of coffee, and to leave you with something worth repeating.
What you’ll find
New stories go up most mornings across seven subjects — science, history, geography, entertainment, literature, art, and a general catch-all for the odds and ends that don’t sit neatly in any one box. Many articles end with a short quiz so you can test what you just learned, and there are fuller quizzes to play whenever you like. It’s reading meant to be enjoyed, not crammed.
How we work
Accuracy matters to us. Articles are researched against reputable sources — encyclopedias, museums, universities, and established publications — which we list at the end of each piece so you can read further or check our work. When the facts are disputed or genuinely uncertain, we say so plainly rather than guess. We correct mistakes promptly and note significant updates, and we try never to waste your time with filler or clickbait.
Who writes it
Stories are published under the Trivia Insight Editorial Team — a small group that cares about getting things right, writing in plain language, and respecting the reader’s time and intelligence. We take particular care to write for readers who have lived through a good deal of what we cover, and who’ll know at once when a detail rings false.
Stay in touch
The best way to follow along is our free daily newsletter — one fact and one short story, most mornings, with nothing to pay and an easy way to unsubscribe whenever you like. You can also browse by subject from the menu at the top of any page, or reach us any time through our contact page. We read everything, and we’re always glad to hear which stories you enjoyed — or where we can do better.
